Blake Cook is an educator, career public servant, and federal agent focused on national security and transnational threats. A veteran law enforcement officer with over twenty years of service in local and federal law enforcement, he is currently a lead national security instructor at the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Academy at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia. Prior to this assignment, he was detailed full-time to an international terrorism squad on the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force and served as a liaison officer to the Department of Defense and the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). He also served nearly eight years as a Special Agent with the Diplomatic Security Service at the U.S. Department of State.
He holds an M.S. in Criminal Justice from Saint Joseph's University and an M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
