The American University Experience Doesn’t End with Graduation
JEFFREY RUTENBECK: I continue to be amazed at the level of accomplishment and engagement of our alums. It's one of those things where it's almost difficult to keep up with people and where their careers are going, and how quickly they are evolving. Part of it is because the world is desperate — hungry, hungry, hungry for people who have the right skills and sensibilities in these areas. They're looking for leaders who can help them, their organization, their issue, their group move. And at the same time, though, these people are staying connected with us, right. So they're maintaining that access to our network. So they're continuing to interface with their faculty, they're learning from faculty, they're moving through their careers together.
American University has many reasons to be proud of its alumni. Our graduates are hard at work creating meaningful change that enriches lives and improves society – efforts built on the educational foundation gained here.
