Online Merit Scholarship
Online Master of Arts in Economics, Applied Economics Specialization
• Scholarship Amount: $14,000 | Eligibility: 3.5 - 4.0
• Scholarship Amount: $8,000 | Eligibility: 3.0 - 3.49

• Considerations:
- American University will make the Online Merit Scholarship decision and will notify students at the time they are admitted or shortly thereafter.
- Scholarship will be applied equally to the 1st and 5th courses.

Online Master of Public Administration and Policy
• Scholarship Amount: $18,000

- Prospective students who have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (on a 4.0 scale) in their undergraduate program, or those with five or more years of active-duty experience in the military (regardless of their GPA score), can qualify for the Online Merit Scholarship in award amounts up to $18,000.
